'Oppenheimer' heats up the theaters. Plus: A TCM trio and more ...
Oppie … Opie. Opie … Oppie.
We saw Oppenheimer on Saturday, and it was as good as the headlines said. The performances radiate crackle, and the pacing is the intense — for a movie that really isn’t an action movie, it never lets you relax. That also means that your brain is playing a lot of catchup, but in the Christopher Nolan oover, it was easier to follow than Inception, not that I’m complaining about either.
