I’d like to say it ain’t so, but the Slaylist (which, as always, can be found at Spotify) has become more of a monthly feature. Doesn’t that make it all the sweeter when it appears?
“Surrender,” Cheap Trick: When this song came out in 1978, I just wasn’t ready for it. In my pre-teen years “Surrender” was too edgy for me to appreciate. Let’s be honest: It was too edgy not to frighten me. Rick Nielsen was scary!
